This is Carlos. I spoke to Monica at Foothills Humane Society and asked her if Samara might be happier with a companion. She recommended Carlos. They got along great at the shelter but I think Samara was glad to be home so she headed straight for her bed (her “safe” place). Carlos wanted to explore and was fine until he saw the cats. He first saw the white kitten and seemed very confused. He wouldn’t walk past her. Then he saw three more cats in the dining room and ran back outside. I could almost read his thoughts, “Oh NO!!, How many more of these things are there?” I hope he gets used to them soon!
He’s very alert, noticing every sound but doesn’t seem afraid or agressive.
