Red Man came to us in Florida after being abandoned by his owner. Apparently she had two of these Japanese Bobcats and took one when she moved and left this one to fend for himselfl My neighbor noticed and suggested I give him a home.
First we got him fixed. Then he had trouble eating and the vet had to remove his teeth. He got skin cancer near his eye and the vet had to take that too. This poor cat lost something important every time he was taken to the vet.
The cancer got the best of him and he died early one morning. The day before he died he spent the day outside on the patio enjoing the sunshine.
