We had just had a tropical storm pass and when I went to our barn, I heard Abby barking like crazy. I asked what was going on and was told there was a ktten in the rafters.
I saw that this baby was only about 6 weeks old and tried to capture him but he wasn’t having any of it. I waded through deep water twice a day to bring him chicken or tuna and cream. I thought maybe I could make friends with him but that didn’t work. Finally I set the live trap for him. He was so tiny, his weight wasn’t enough to spring the door so I had to put a piece of steel on the bar. With his added weight, the door sprang closed.
He was not the brightest of cats but very lovable. His favorite toy was Bad Boy’s fluffy tail. Not so much fun for Bad Boy though.
