Bird’s Actions:  Preening and feeding

Bird’s Appearance:  Adult duck, white with orange bill, legs and feet.  8 to 11 pounds

My Actions:  Observe and admire

Remarks:  Pekin ducks aka Domestic ducks.  Used for eggs and meat.  Bred from the Mallard duck in China and brought to the US in 1873.  Pekin ducks eat larvae and pupae found under rocks, aquatic animals, plants, seeds, fish, snails and crabs.
