Weather/Conditions:  Sunny and cold

Bird’s Actions:  Feeding at the feeder, perched on a shepherd’s hook.

Bird’s Appearance:Small finch with a short, conical bill and a short, notched tail.  Breeding males are a bright yellow with black forehead and black wings with white markings.  The breeding female is a duller yellow and more olive.
